(The edges will not fray.) Our goal was to create a sustainable product, so we chose unbleached ecru fabric. This towel has excellent water absorption and dries quickly. It can be used for anything, such as a dish towel, sports towel, sauna or hot spring towel, scarf, or baby bath towel. (The edge of the fabric will not fray.) Since we aimed to create a sustainable product, we chose unbleached ecru fabric. There are small black dots on the fabric, but this is proof that the fabric is unbleached and does not affect the product. When delivered, the fabric is starched, so it is crisp and firm. Before use, be sure to wash gently by hand in lukewarm water, changing the water several times. *Since it is unbleached, the color of the cotton itself and the starch will come out a little when washed for the first time, making the water cloudy. As you wash and use it repeatedly, the oil of the cotton will be removed, and the fabric will become soft and fluffy, and the absorbency will also improve. (When you first start using it, you may feel that the absorbency is a little lacking due to the oiliness of the cotton.) *Please note that using fabric softener when washing will reduce the absorbency.
