Voltage Compatibility】
When using electrical appliances, please note that they are designed for Japanese voltage specifications (90-110V), so if you use them with a different voltage, it may cause a malfunction.
【Plug Type】
Our products use Japanese plug types (A or B type).
Please use a conversion adapter if necessary.

Datejime no Mori Hakataori|
This is a Mori Hakata-ori datejime, which has sold over one million Hakata-ori datejime since its founding. It is made with luxurious pure silk, resulting in a thick and firm datejime that is characteristic of Hakata-ori. It has little slack, so if you tie it comfortably without forcing it, it will stay firmly in place and prevent the garment from becoming loose.
Fine products|
The word "Seibin" means "select product." Luxuriously using high-quality S-rank silk thread, it is woven with 1,500 warp threads and tightly woven weft threads, giving it the characteristic Hakata weaving feel. Mori Hakata weaving's Seihin is made with a focus on the origins of the manufacturing process, aiming for the highest quality among Hakata weaving datejime, which will not come loose or come undone.
The sophistication of focusing on the invisible parts |
Datejime is hidden under the kimono and obi, so you can enjoy choosing it based on your favorite color and the meaning of the Japanese pattern without worrying about coordinating it. It is also a great gift for a family member to choose a pattern associated with warding off evil spirits or prosperity when wearing formal wear.
When dressing, two strands are often used: one to stabilize the collar of the nagajuban (undergarment), and the other to adjust the hem of the kimono.
[Notes]
There may be thin threads coming out from around the selvedge (edge).
After using it a few times, the thin threads will no longer come out.
If it bothers you, you can cut it off with thread scissors and continue using it without any problems.
Also, regarding the thicker woven threads unraveling from both ends of the cut ends, the threads will no longer unravel after a few uses.
