It can be used either as a "rechargeable" model by removing the included charging adapter after charging, or as a "plug-in" model by leaving the adapter connected.
A single charge provides approximately 50 minutes of use on (HIGH), 60 minutes on (MID), and 60 minutes on (LOW).
