This product is recreated in the form after the refurbishment carried out around 1975.
Features added during the refurbishment, such as the radio antenna on the roof at the front of the lead car, the front window defroster, and the snowplow under the front floor, are reproduced.
The two-story intermediate car Sa10200 series recreates the window appearance, interior, and presence or absence of a snack corner, which were changed following the relocation of the toilet (the nine-car set includes cars 10218 and 10210 without a snack corner).
The exterior of the Sa10200 series recreates features from its later years, such as the blue paint on the bottom of the body and the removal of the radio receiving antenna on the roof.
The six-car set, A, recreates the V01 series, the only non-through lead car Mo10100 series, which had a pillar on the front window.
All lead cars except 10106 and 10110 have illuminated head/tail lights, signal lights, and express markings. White LEDs are used, and only the through lead cars have a switch to turn them off.
The use of a slotless motor ensures smooth and quiet running. The A and C formations are powered, while the B formation is not.
The front of each through-hole leading car is equipped with a body-mounted KATO close-coupled coupler (without hooks).
The 6-car and 9-car sets come with a limited express marking on the non-through-hole leading car, and include a limited express marking for the through-hole leading car and a front hood for the marking. The C formation (3-car set) comes with limited express markings on both leading cars and an interchangeable front hood for recreating the train without the limited express marking.
The included destination board features the B-type limited express train (stopping at major stations), which was the focus of service in the final stages of operation. Included destinations: "Osaka-Uehommachi," "Kashikojima," "Kyoto," "Nara," "Kashihara-jingu-mae," "Nagoya (light blue)," and "Toba (light blue)."
The headmark and return ticket attached during the farewell run are included.
The C formation (3-car set) can be stored in the decorative box containing the A formation + B formation 6-car set.
