The black particles are "ultra-fine powdered activated carbon" inside the filter. During the shipping process, it is possible for the activated carbon, which is the main ingredient, to agglomerate and detach, resulting in its release outside the filter. This is not a product defect but rather a characteristic of using a material with numerous micro-sized pores to maximize contact filtration. You can safely consume the water without any concerns.

During the product's shipping and delivery process, the filter may have been shaken or subjected to impacts, causing the particles to be present even in new products. After opening the filter, rinse the outer surface with water before using it. Some particles that were agglomerated during transportation may not be easily removed, but they pose no problem for use.

As part of the filter preparation process, it is recommended to immerse the filter in water and shake it sufficiently until no air bubbles are observed. After that, install the filter and filter water 2-3 times before using it.
