Unparalleled acoustics with 8-driver hybrid configuration: AFUL has designed the new Performer 8 with an 8-driver hybrid configuration. This pair has a built-in 8mm dynamic driver with a biological diaphragm. This DD unit is supported by seven customized high-performance balanced armature drivers for ultimate resolution and clarity.
MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE WITH 4-WAY FREQUENCY CROSSOVER: To take full advantage of the Performer 8's eight drivers, AFUL designed the pair with a 4-way frequency crossover. 8mm dynamic driver unit produces deep and powerful bass. It is supported by two high-performance BA drivers that support low-frequency DD and also produce clear midrange. Another two BA drivers produce high-resolution vocals and instruments in the midrange section. And finally, the three BA drivers produce a smooth, detailed and beautifully extended treble response.
Patented 3D Printed Sound Tube Construction: Like the Performer 5, the new Performer 8 also features a 3D printed sound tube construction. This helps achieve physical crossover on set. The Performer 8 is designed with an extra-long & ultra-thin 62.55mm bass tube to help create a deep, resonant, fat low-end response. A 46.77mm midbass tube and a 10.61mm midrange tube are also included for enhanced sound output.
Patented High Damping Pneumatic Balance System: AFUL has equipped the Performer 8 with a specially designed, patented high damping pneumatic balance technology. Balances air pressure in the ear canal and reduces wearing fatigue after long listening sessions. Additionally, the elasticity of the lower end of the output signal is also improved.
Patented RLC frequency division technology: AFUL also features patented RLC (resistance, capacitance, inductance) frequency division correction technology in the Perfomrerm8. Easily use a large number of resistors and capacitors in combination to tune the sound of different drivers simultaneously. This allows the Performer8 to deliver a clean, accurate sound with less distortion. Provides smooth treble frequency response for BA drivers.
