JODYJAZZ's exclusive Chedeville rubber produces a rich, warm sound, and rounded sidewalls add complexity to the core sound. The large round chamber and bore give it a characteristic mellow, warm, beautiful sound, and the addition of a thick, heavy gold-plated brass band on the shank increases the amount of overtones in the sound. This mouthpiece does not come with a ligature or cap. The ligature you currently have (if you have a hard rubber mouthpiece) should fit, but if you want to upgrade your ligature, JODYJAZZ offers a POWERRING ligature. The POWERRING HRS1 Gold and HRS1S Silver models are made specifically for HR*CUSTOMDARK Soprano mouthpieces. We also offer RovnerSS1-RVS ligatures to fit this model.
