[About the plane]

[About blade adjustment]
The blade protrudes approximately 0.1 to 0.2 mm. When moving the blade forward, hit the top of the blade. When moving the blade backward, hit the top of the body. If either the right or left side protrudes too much, hit the side that protrudes.
[Regarding adjustments to slush funds]
The backing of the plane should be adjusted so that there is a gap of 0.05 to 0.2 mm from the cutting edge.
Set the gap narrower for finish work and wider for rough cutting.
Adjustment is important because if the gap is too narrow, the shavings will easily become clogged, and if it is too wide, coarse shavings will easily come out.
After making adjustments, we perform a test cut to check that the shavings are thin and uniform, and that the cut is smooth, and make fine adjustments if necessary.
