Grater - Oni Oroshi (Grinator) You can adjust the coarseness of the grated food by adjusting the amount of pressure you apply. Grate with force, and you'll get a coarse texture. Grate with a smooth stroke, and you'll get a normal texture. The grater is manufactured at our Niigata Tsubame Factory. Stainless steel pressing and advanced pressing processes leave burrs on the blades, allowing the fibers to catch on. While burrs are typically forbidden in stainless steel processing, this process allows for the fibers to "catch" just the right amount for a smooth grating.
