However, many families live with pets, such as dogs and cats, so we designed our towels from the perspective of pets. Dogs and cats with sensitive skin have only about one-third the stratum corneum of humans, making them more susceptible to irritation and dryness than humans. Rather than using synthetic fibers that can easily generate static electricity, we believe Imabari towels, made with plenty of high-quality natural cotton, are ideal.
