Plywood safe for self-assembly. For a 13-year-old daughter, it took about 1 hour to assemble it. The set includes a screwdriver and 2 extra screws. It is a big plus if some screw decided to find a new place, e.g. under the wardrobe. The daughter said she rates this toy 9/10 points. Small minus for sticking out splinters (but not many). I recommend it for beginner DIY enthusiasts.

Works well once set up. Unfortunately only a Chinese manual, but also a few pictures, so that the structure can be easily understood.

Lightweight, but assembles well. Enough to discourage curious enquirers, but would not withstand a determined attempt.
