This sleeping bag is made in Japan and comes with a lifetime manufacturer's warranty. The outer fabric is made of Auroratex, a super water-repellent material that eliminates the need for a sleeping bag cover. Precautions for Purchasers Before Use: Before using the sleeping bag, please be sure to dry it in the sun in a well-ventilated area or use a futon dryer to completely remove moisture. Feathers are very sensitive to moisture, and even slight moisture can cause odors and prevent the bag from expanding. Therefore, we recommend completely drying the sleeping bag beforehand, rather than at the campsite. If you then place the sleeping bag in the storage bag and bring it to the campsite, it will expand nicely and be ready to use without drying on site. (1) Common Issue: How to Deal with Feather Unevenness: When new, the feathers are injected by machine and then folded by machine before being placed in the storage bag. This can cause the feathers to be unevenly distributed to one side or the back. Remove moisture until the feathers expand and can be seen moving around inside. Lift the tip of the sleeping bag and shake it gently to distribute the feathers evenly throughout and eliminate uneven distribution. (2) Common Issues: Feather Odor and Unevenness. The smell and fluffiness of the down may differ depending on the manufacturing period and humidity during storage. However, the DX (760FP) down used in our sleeping bags is the same as the down used in NANGA online products, and the washing and filling methods are the same.
They are 100% identical. If you repeat the method in (1), all of them will be in exactly the same condition. The feather smell will also be reduced.
